An Garda Síochána Centenary Commemoration 1922-2022
The GSRMA (Garda Síochána Retired Members Association) seeks suitable Expressions of Interest from academics and others interested in cooperating with the GSRMA in an exciting project. This project concerns the centenary of An Garda Síochána occurring in 2022The project is entitled “Capturing our History” and an important strand relates to recording the oral and lived experiences of Gardaí and their families who served in/with An Garda Síochána including relevant records of such service/events.

A second strand relates to the collection of written historical material and records in a chronological fashion. There may be scope in this strand for engaging in original research.
The GSRMA will consider formal cooperation with Academic Bodies and other interested parties.
