Annual National Service of Remembrance in St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Remembrance Sunday 10th November 2019 and is scheduled to start at 3.15 pm and last about an hour and a quarter.
You will know that this day has a very special commemorative significance all across these Islands and internationally to those who gather in memory of all those who lost their lives in the World Wars. The occasion will be marked, as it has since the 1920’s, by a solemn Service of Evensong led by the Dean of St. Patrick’s Cathedral .
The President of Ireland, Michael D O’Higgins is attending and will lay a wreath for the Nation conjointly with Lt Col Ken Martin, President of the Royal British Legion in ROI, prior to the traditional ‘Act of Remembrance’.
