GSRMA are deeply saddened at the tragic death of Garda Dave Aherne. We remember his wife and children at this time. As well as his serving colleagues in Waterford. May he rest in peace.
Dave was an advisor on police water rescue to the Foundation. He was a highly qualified and experienced police diver which makes his death shocking.
