Growing old in Ireland appears to be a huge worry on the shoulders of 58 year old, Mr. James Reilly, TD., & Minister for Health. He may be at the peak of his Political career but right now the Minister feels Older People are a burden on society. Why you may ask ?. Well they tend to have more than one illness. At hospitals they tend to be admitted for longer periods and therefore clog-up hospital wards. If the patient gets home again, he/she has to face reality of brutal cuts in Home-Health hours.
